2014 TAA Awards - Marianna Wiraatmadja was Nominated for Housekeeper of the Year | Metro Hotels

TAA Award for Excellence is like an Oscars awards for Hospitality group, it happens once a year.

There are few processes that we have to go-through in terms of judging criteria:

·         FYI first attachment – TAA sends out a nomination booklet and there are heaps of categories to choose from.

·         Then we choose a category and nominate, and in this case it was category 18 Housekeeper of the year.

·         There is a process in nominating; firstly, it is a written nomination FYI second attachment – I wrote this, it was checked by Sylvia and send to TAA.

·         Then there is an interview part by TAA judging panel; Marianna attended this and from memory I think she told me there were about 3 judges, who fire heaps of questions.

·         And then Marianna was nominated as one of the finalist to take on the award. FYI third attachment – I was told my TAA Elaine that this year was the largest number of nominations put forward to them, and to be a finalist was a great achievement.

·         The forth attachment is the winners – sadly Marianna did not win, but in my mind she was the winner.

·         & the last attachment talks about a some sought of a media release by TAA.
